Thank you for visiting this site. My name is  Angelina South  and my passion and profession is photography. I have been taking pictures, messing about in dark rooms (and now on Photoshop) ever since my dad bought me my first SLR camera on my 21st birthday. That was quite a while ago but the love affair with my cameras is stronger than ever. Nikons have moved on so much in the past few years but the 1974 Nikon F my photography tutor gave me still produces images as good as the Nikon D700 and D3S. I never go out without a camera, even if it’s just the iPhone.

My style of photography is documentary – natural and unfussy. I’ve been commissioned to photograph people, places and products and I’ve covered a multitude of events for the press, but photographing people and documenting the important events in their lives is the most satisfying work. People tend to look their best when they are happy and relaxed so developing a good relationship with clients and putting people at ease is important, especially when photographing children. My clients trust me to produce unique and natural images showing them looking their best with their personality shining through.

Whether you’re an individual, an organisation or a business, if you need a professional photographer who will care about your project or event as much as you do, get in touch. I am based in London but not tied to it. I’ll travel to wherever you are, in the UK or overseas. After the initial contact, a meeting will be arranged to discuss your brief in full. Photography is not only my business but my passion, and I believe everyone can improve their photography skills. Great images needn’t be the sole preserve of the professional so I offer relaxed and fun one-to-one lessons to help you get better pictures whenever you press that shutter button. Interested children are welcome to come along to the lessons with their parents.
